Winter 2009: Amsterdam based drummer, Darko Tadic starts recording a few songs at a friend’s studio, playing and singing all the parts…
While drumming in a couple of bands, and doing studio sessions, he shelves the 3 track demo, ocassionally playing it to friends and fellow musicians.
One of them is fellow Balkan boy, drummer (and underground punk celebrity in Croatia!), Sin, who was also hitting the skins for Mala Vita now and again.

Darko swiftly moved center stage, doing lead vocals and guitar, while newly recruited bassman Martin van L., provided some fat lows in the tight groove department.
Right on time too, because the band, still under the solo- project name of TheDarko, were reeling in gigs by the truckload in their first year.

The band took the next step.

With a new name, a debut EP, a fourth member, Ymer - young sound wizzard extraordinaire, and an impressive, well-oiled live reputation, Capeman are on excellent form, looking brightly into the future…
