Besides that, they also came up with a great line up. We were honoured to open the festival with our very own americana artist Hering. Another key figure in putting the line up together was Koos van Dijk, known for being the man behind Herman Brood.

The second band on the bill was Sky Pilots. It proved not to be a coincidence that they named themselves after a song of The Animals.

After an intimate intermezzo of miss Eva Almagor, it was time for the Sunday Kids to perform on their own festival. They fulfilled all the expectations that came with being the audience’s favourite. Remember that name. In meantime, we are working on something really cool with this bluesrock band.

The headliner of the festival was Romanza Brava (Wild Romance), the former band of the legendary rock ‘n’ roll hero Herman Brood. They quit their repetitions and put their tour on hold to join the initiative of the Sunday Kids. And we are certainly glad they did, because guitar player Dany Lademacher still rocks like it’s 1978…

The presenter of the festival was none other than beat poetrist Joshua Baumgarten a.ka. Mr. Weird Beard. He is the founder of the The Irrational Library, a cultural and artistic hotspot. He not only has a big heart for live music, he is also more than capable to spread his enthusiasm and get a crowd going!

Sunday Kids guitarist Matt Harmen was very pleased with the first empty beer barrel, and luckily many followed. At the end of the evening, manager Maarten Pop (Pop Associates) gave a thank you speech and got some love from the band. Honour to whom honour is due.
